Founded in 2024, Legacy Print Council is a collective of contemporary printmakers of color who came together to create space, visibility, and support within a field that hasn’t always reflected the full range of voices shaping it. Our members work across a wide spectrum of print-based media, including relief, photopolymer printing, lithography, screen printing, and unique mixed media works. Each member brings a different background and artistic perspective, but what ties us together is our interest in using print to explore identity, cultural memory, and the layered experiences of life in communities of color.
