Building on the momentum of its celebrated 2025 curated preview, CONDUCTOR’s inaugural edition will present individual artists and galleries across Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, and Indigenous Nations around the globe, foregrounding critical perspectives from the Global Majority at a decisive cultural moment. The fair is curated by Adriana Farietta in collaboration with Powerhouse Arts.

Between its emphasis on the Global South and its fabrication support across sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking, Conductor makes New York’s art world feel newly accessible to artists from India, Latin America, and Africa, who may have felt that shipping work to the US was out of reach, financially or politically. Conductor is a place to learn about emerging galleries that might be too green to participate in the traditional art fair circuit.”

New York’s spring art season can be dizzying. But across the Brooklyn Bridge, away from the perhaps buzzier Manhattan shows, a more intimate opportunity to engage with artists awaits.”

Hyperallergic

Framed as a challenge to the structural limits of legacy fairs, Conductor is testing not just who gets to show—but how the entire model could evolve.”
