Powerhouse Arts is more than a building — our facility in Gowanus, Brooklyn, is a living hub for artists, fabricators, and communities to connect, create, and explore. We welcome visitors to the lobby during our open hours, and the rest of the building is open by invitation or at programmed events. By Bicycle & Foot
The bicycle and pedestrian entrance is located on 2nd St., to the left of Cube Smart Self Storage.
Please dismount your bicycle before proceeding along 2nd St., as there may be car traffic.
The main entrance to the lobby will be located to your right, proceed through the glass doors.
There is a nearby Citi Bike station located on the corner of 3rd St. & 3rd Ave.
Bicycle parking is available in our garage, adjacent to the lobby doors.
By Public Transit
F or G Train to Carroll St., then walk 0.6 miles (12 minutes) toward 3rd St. & 3rd Ave.R Train to Union St., then walk west on President St. and make a right on 3rd Ave.
B37 Bus to 3rd St. and 3rd Ave.
B103 Bus to 4th St. and 4th Ave.
Passenger Drop-off
Vehicles must approach Powerhouse Arts on 1st Street, where there is a lift arm gate.
Press any intercom button for access. Guests must state their business and point of contact at Powerhouse Arts.
Proceed down 1st Street and make the first left turn onto Powerhouse Way.
The entrance to the lobby is along Powerhouse Way, through four glass doors, past the parking garage.
There is no vehicle parking available on site.
