Marisa Newman Projects centers on creating exhibitions and platforms that support artists in developing and expanding their practices. Through curatorial initiatives and close collaboration, the organization helps shape projects from concept to presentation—fostering thoughtful dialogue, experimentation, and meaningful engagement with audiences. Its focus is on building opportunities that allow artists to explore new ideas while connecting their work to institutions, collectors, and the broader public.

Adler Guerrier explores nature through a distinct artistic lens, using the natural world to probe themes of identity, memory, and abstraction. He approaches nature as both permanent and ephemeral, incorporating elements such as flowers into mixed-media works that reflect the fluidity of cultural identity and the forces shaping our environments. Working across photography, drawing, and collage, Guerrier considers presence, absence, and displacement—positioning nature as both subject and metaphor within his practice.

For The Conductor fair, Guerrier conceived a site-specific booth that extended these concerns into the spatial realm. Transforming the booth into an immersive environment, he integrated photographic and collaged floral motifs with architectural interventions that responded to the fair’s structure and circulation. The installation functioned as both exhibition and environment—foregrounding the tension between visibility and concealment, and inviting viewers to move through a space shaped by layered histories, fragmented landscapes, and shifting perceptions of place.

Adler Guerrier (b. 1975, Port-au-Prince, Haiti) is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, drawing, collage, and installation. Based in Miami, his practice examines abstraction, memory, and the urban landscape, often using natural and architectural forms to explore themes of identity, displacement, and cultural history. Guerrier’s work engages the poetics of space and perception, positioning landscape—both built and organic—as a site of reflection and inquiry. Exhibitons include Person of the Crowd: The Contemporary Art of Flânerie at the Barnes Foundation, a group exhibition examining how artists engage with urban life and public space through practices of observation and wandering and CHO DELAY REVERB: American Art and Francophone Thought, a major group exhibition curated by Naomi Beckwith that brings together over 50 artists exploring transatlantic artistic and intellectual exchanges. The show runs at Palais de Tokyo through February 15, 2026
