public tours
Join a Powerhouse Arts Tour to discover the state-of-the-art redevelopment and architectural marvel of the reimagined Brooklyn Rapid Transit Power Station that today houses the Powerhouse Arts art fabrication shops, administrative offices, and multipurpose spaces. We are excited to share our facility with you!
A member of the Powerhouse Arts Artist Experience team will guide a small group through the Lobby, Ceramics Studio, Print Shop, Grand Hall, Loft, Small Hall, and Public Art spaces.
Over the course of the one-hour tour, guests will learn about the history of the building dating back to 1904 up to its current, purpose-built state as a not-for-profit committed to creative expression.
Tour capacities are limited to 12 guests*. Note that all spaces can be accessed by elevator and stairs are not required. Please email us at tours@powerhousearts.org if you have accessibility needs and we will accommodate your requests.
*Our suggested donation is $25. Your donation will help support public programming at Powerhouse Arts.
