The two-day master class will take place on March 15^th and 16^th from 10am – 5pm (with a one-hour break). On both days, Moon will share his philosophy for throwing large jars and functional wares, as well as provide demonstrations paired with hands-on work.  

Stoneware is included and porcelain is available for purchase. For artists who are not currently members of the Powerhouse Arts Community Ceramics Studio and would like to finish and glaze their work, there is an additional $80 flat rate fee. This fee covers studio time to trim, bisque, glaze (using PHA glazes), and high fire. Work will be bisque fired by 04/01, and must be glazed between 04/03 – 04/11 and picked up no later than 04/22.  

Please bring your own tools. 

Demonstration

March 16th from 6pm – 8pm only
$95

This two-hour demonstration will take place on March 16th from 6pm – 8pm. Moon will share his philosophy for throwing large jars and functional wares demonstrating Korean techniques such as throwing clockwise and stretching cylinders to make large expansive forms. 

Due to high demand there will be no refunds or credits given for the workshop or the demonstration.
