PHA welcomes PHA Patrons and supporters to a special exhibition preview and artist walkthrough of Lauren Cohen’s Gallerina: Do Not Disturb, part of Ace Hotel New York’s AIR Program in partnership with PHA.

In partnership with Ace Hotel’s Artist in Residence (AIR) Program, PHA is pleased to co-present Gallerina: Do Not Disturb, a self-reflective multiverse that artist Lauren Cohen started in 2022. The month-long residency at Ace Hotel New York culminates in an exhibition and series of programs hosted at the hotel, where Cohen will introduce 2-3 new characters from her Gallerina project. During her residency, Cohen created ceramic objects (fabricated at PHA, where she is a member of the Community Ceramics Studio), completed her fifth graphic novel, made paintings, photographs and a film of the artist as the “Gallerina” in her Chelsea Gallery.
