Description

Learn how to throw larger pieces and to construct composite forms in this 10-week advanced ceramic course designed for artists looking to develop their wheel-throwing abilities. Drawing on the principals of vessel making, the scope of this class will be broad. Students will be equipped with the technical skills necessary for them to move in a direction that excites them, whether that is functional wares, sculptural works or anything in between.This course builds on existing wheel‑throwing experience; throwing, trimming, and glazing proficiency is required. The techniques are accessible to a range of skill levels.Disclaimer: Registration for this workshop is non-refundable.
