Part festival, part symposium, part community ritual, this day-long gathering brings together artists, environmentalists, scientists, farmers, storytellers, performers, and neighbors to explore what animals might teach us about living through an age of profound change.
People of all ages are invited to imagine new ways of relating to the more-than-human world. Throughout the day, guests can move between:
- thought-provoking talks and panel discussions featuring visionary artists, scholars, and environmental thinkers
- hands-on creative workshops
- interactive activities for all ages
- performance and music
- moments of gathering that invite reflection, celebration, and connection across disciplines, species, and neighborhoods
As the evening approaches, Deluge culminates in a performance at the heart of our Loft and a procession of party animals, wild souls, and treehuggers, transforming reflection into collective action and revelry.
Location: (The Loft, Small Hall, and Lobby)
Cost: Free (access to the Ark is also FREE on this day)
The Ark's public programs, Crafternoons, Art Where You Are, and Deluge are generously supported by Hermès.
