The Art of the Game

project overview
Powerhouse Arts partnered with 14C Art Foundation and the New York New Jersey 2026 FIFA World Cup Host Committee to fabricate a series of monumental sculptures for The Art of the Game, a public art initiative that transforms soccer's most recognizable symbol into large-scale contemporary artworks installed throughout New York and New Jersey.
Working closely with artists, designers, and project partners, the Powerhouse Public Art team developed fabrication strategies for each sculpture while maintaining a consistent structural framework across the series. Powerhouse Arts translated individual artist concepts into durable outdoor installations through digital file preparation, large-format UV printing, CNC fabrication, panel assembly and finishing, producing twenty-four sculptures for public exhibition.
