The Loft

A 6,000-square-foot flexible space located adjacent to the Grand Hall and able to accommodate 295 people, The Loft is ideal for smaller events such as pop ups, fashion shows, product launches, conferences, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, live music, and art exhibitions. It also acts as ancillary space for activity in the Grand Hall. Additionally, The Loft was purposely designed to accommodate large-scale art fabrication, allowing Hive members to flex into this space as necessary.

Ariana Grande

The rich history and artistic energy permeating the space made our Grand Hall the perfect shooting location for the music video for Ariana Grande’s first solo single in nearly four years, the dance floor-ready “yes, and?” Production company London Alley made excellent use of The Loft for NYCAP3D’s 3D photogrammetry camera rig, which was featured in the song’s lyric video.

Powerhouse Arts’ fabrication shops (ceramics, print, and public art) can produce custom elements for your event in-house. Lead times vary; we recommend inquiring as early as possible.
