PHA Advocates members and above ($1,500+) are invited to an intimate salon-style reception with artist Jean Shin and PHA Printshop Director Luther Davis. Hosted in the PHA Printshop, the evening will feature an in-depth conversation about their creative process and collaboration on Tidal Reflections, the inaugural PHA Benefit Collector Edition.
Known for her large-scale installations and public sculptures, Jean Shin transforms accumulations of discarded objects into compelling works that examine the intersections of material consumption, collective identity, and community. Inspired by her sculpture Tidal Witness #1, composed of vintage mother-of-pearl buttons, Tidal Reflections magnifies the original work to reveal the subtle yet luminous iridescence of its surface—an effect that is best experienced in person.
