information

This fall, Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn invites you to Crafternoons—a series of free, drop-in art workshops for families, kids, and neighbors of all ages. Each week, participants can roll up their sleeves for hands-on art-making projects inspired by our upcoming performance festival, Powerhouse: International.

From building whimsical landscapes to designing costumes, props, and characters, every session is a chance to play, imagine, and create together. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or just curious to try something new, Crafternoons offers a welcoming space to explore creativity, connect with the community, and contribute to a collaborative artwork that will come to life during the festival.

Plus, attendees will be entered to win free tickets to a Powerhouse: International performance!

All Crafternoons will take place in the PHA lobby.

  • Saturday, October 4 from 12pm to 3pm
