Traditional techniques of etching, drypoint, aquatint, and use of hard and soft grounds as well as contemporary methods such as non-toxic photo-etching, viscosity printing, and Xerox-transfer

This eight week class starts with learning how to make a traditional etching and aquatint print, and then how to use them in order to push the boundaries of those techniques.

Led by Nandini Chirimar, this discussion-based class will focus on composition principles and critique of both in-progress and completed work.
